“After developing asthma for the first time in my life in my late 20s, I spent two years on a healing journey to uncover the root causes of why I was no longer breathing normally and losing so much sleep - especially as someone with a healthy lifestyle and no history of asthma. Western medicine, acupuncture, herbs, vitamins, mindfulness, and bodywork helped. Yet overall, I was still pulling all-nighters from asthma attacks. Dr. Jonathan is a miracle worker who has already healed the sciatica pain I was feeling, and has greatly reduced the hip pain I had. In fact, my coworker said “Your hips don’t look so messed up.” Haha! The ‘Young Doc’ Neil is also great, and I’ve had an adjustment with him too. I am gaining strength in my lower back through the stretches and exercises Susie taught me to do at home, and I just received my goody bag of gear to continue shaping my neck and spine into better health. I really liked that they have a payment plan, so that it is more accessible for me. “I came in due to pretty extreme nighttime hip pain (6-8/10 most nights) that was regularly disrupting my sleep, which really messes me up the next day. I'd had it for about 8 months and thought about going to my orthopedist then it dawned on me I should try the least invasive modality first. Chiropractic care has helped me with neck pain in the past, so I was hoping it would be the same for this new hip pain. I have to be honest, I didn't have that much hope. I don't doubt the benefits but I also didn't want to be overly optimistic. The first visit he took x-rays which showed some issues, but didn't explain my specific pain. I'm very pleased to report that after TWO adjustments my hip pain was gone and I'm not sleeping soundly and pain-free. I signed up for the three-month treatment plan and am about halfway through and still feeling good. Once in awhile I might have some pain but it's at a 1 or 2, doesn't last long, and on average I feel that once every 2 to 2.5 weeks. The at-home exercises help too, with not just my hips, but my back and neck too. I sit a lot for work like a lot of people so I get stiff. With the exercises I'm feeling less tight, stronger, and my range of motion has improved immensely too. I'm blown away by the results. If you're having musculoskeletal issues you should make an appointment. What do you have to lose? I should add that the other staff is awesome too. :)”
